When investing in dog training, make sure the training method is right for your dog. Some trainers use methods that only work on certain types of dogs, although they will happily take your money. Others will only work with certain types of dogs. Basic obedience training should not take more than a few sessions maximum to see the results you want, so be wary of getting into an ongoing training situation that isn't getting you much success.
